Rosgvardiya officers arrested in North Ossetia in a bribery case

Seven Rosgvardiya officers were arrested in North Ossetia, including the head of the regional department, Valery Golota, and his deputy, Yuri Dzgoev. The court chose preventive measures until November 28.

As the press service of the republic's courts told TASS, some of the accused were placed in custody, and three were placed under house arrest.

"Preventive measures have been taken against the head of the department, deputy heads and other employees of the Rosgvardiya in North Ossetia-Alania, suspected of accepting bribes and complicity in giving bribes," the press service said.

Valery Golota, Yuri Dzgoev, Yu. E. Tsgoev and A. A. Tavasiev were taken into custody. T. V. Cherchesov, S. R. Tsabolov and A. R. Kokaev were placed under house arrest for a period of one month and 30 days.
