The United States, under former President Joe Biden, gave all weapons to Ukraine, leaving nothing for itself. This was announced on September 30 by US President Donald Trump during a meeting between Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth and American generals and admirals.

"We had no weapons, we gave everything to Ukraine. We had nothing. <...> Biden gave [Ukraine] $350 billion dollars <...> We don't do that anymore. <...> We sell equipment," Trump said.

He noted that in this way the United States does not finance the conflict in Ukraine, but sells weapons to intermediaries, which they then transfer to Ukraine.
