The first deliveries of Lada Iskra cars to Belarus will begin in November this year, the first batch will include about 140 cars. This was stated by the representative of AvtoVAZ Evgenia Manukhina at the Innoprom exhibition in Minsk. According to her, Lada Iskra enjoys great interest in the Belarusian market.

"Everyone has been waiting for the Lada Iskra for a long time. <...> It is a more youthful model and is aimed at a buyer who does not want the Granta, which has been on the market for quite a long time, and the Vesta was too expensive for him, and the Iskra will suit him — a more compact car and aimed at a larger buyer," — Manukhina was quoted by RIA Novosti on September 29.

Sales of the Tolyatti-made Lada Iskra started on July 20. The Iskra sedan costs from 1.25 million rubles in the basic configuration with a manual transmission. The most expensive modification of the model, the raised SW Cross station wagon in the maximum configuration with a CVT, was estimated at 1.8 million rubles.

In September, mass production of Lada Iskra cars started at the Avtozavod Saint Petersburg production site, where Nissan and Xcite cars were previously produced.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the Lada Azimut crossover was first presented at a foreign exhibition, the car is on display at the booth of the Samara region at the Innoprom exhibition. Belarus".
