The State Duma called the death of a grandmother and grandson from an APU strike in the Moscow region a tragedy.

The death of a grandmother and her six-year-old grandson in a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Moscow region is a tragedy. This was announced on September 29 by Svetlana Zhurova, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

"It's always hard to comment on such moments <...> This is a tragedy," Zhurova said in an interview with Lenta.ru .

The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs also expressed her sincere condolences to the families of the victims.

The death of an elderly woman and her grandson as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack became known earlier that day. It was noted that after the attack, a fire broke out in a private house, which killed a 76-year-old woman and her grandson. In addition, various damages were recorded in several houses in Voskresensk.
