The Ministry of Emergency Situations recalled a large-scale inspection of warning systems

In Russia, on October 1, a scheduled inspection of public notification systems for operability in case of threat or emergency situations will take place. This was reported on September 29 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

It is specified that electric sirens and loudspeakers will be turned on during the check, as well as the air will be replaced on mandatory television and radio channels. Up-to-date information will be available through the mobile application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that when a siren sounds, it is necessary to: remain calm and avoid panic; turn on the TV or radio on any publicly available channel to receive an information message," the message says, published on the Telegram channel of the department.
