Air defense forces shot down nine UAVs over the Smolensk region

Air defense systems shot down nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Smolensk region. This was announced on September 29 by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin.

"The air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense shot down nine drones," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor clarified that no information about the victims had been reported. There was also no damage to infrastructure facilities. Operational service personnel are working at the scene.

On September 28, the governor of the Tula Region, Dmitry Milyaev, announced that the air defense had eliminated four UAVs over the region. It was clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
