The governor of the Rostov region announced the repulse of an attack by UAVs in the northern part of the region.

Last night, air defense systems repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the north of the Rostov region — the vehicles were intercepted over the territory of six districts. This was announced on September 27 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"A massive enemy air attack was repelled at night in the north of the Rostov region. The UAVs were destroyed and suppressed in Tarasovsky, Millerovsky, Milyutinsky, Kasharsky, Kamensky and Krasnosulinsky districts," the publication posted on his Telegram channel says.

The head of the Rostov region clarified that as a result of what happened in the Kasharsky district, a grass fire was noticed and eliminated, and in Tarasovsky, a fire broke out on the equipment of a gas distribution station, where, after its elimination, repair work had already begun. People, as he noted, were not injured.

A day earlier, Slyusar reported on the successful repulse of a drone attack on Taganrog and six districts of the region, including Myasnikovsky, Millerovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Sholokhovsky, Tarasovsky and Verkhnedonskoy. According to him, there were also no casualties as a result of the incident.
