Iran remains an indispensable partner of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This was announced on September 26 by the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi.

"We are trying to restore relations with Iran, because they are irreplaceable. Even after the attacks on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities, it is very important that Iran continues to cooperate with us," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

The head of the IAEA also stressed the importance of restoring relations with Iran to stabilize the situation in the Middle East.

Earlier, on September 10, the IAEA agreed with Iran to monitor nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz and Fordo. According to Grossi, the agreement is fully consistent with the comprehensive safeguards agreement.
