The Central Election Commission of Moldova suspended the "Heart of Moldova" party from the parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission of Moldova unreasonably suspended the opposition party "The Heart of Moldova" from the elections two days before the vote. The resolution was announced on September 26 by the Vice-chairman of the Central Election Commission Pavel Postika.

The electoral body referred to the decision of the Chisinau court, which restricted the activities of the political force for a year at the request of the Ministry of Justice. The party is suspected of illegal financing, but no clear evidence has been provided.
