Two people died in an accident involving an ambulance in the Rostov region
Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a passenger car and an ambulance on the 85th km of the Morozovsk–Tsimlyansk–Volgodonsk highway. This was announced on September 25 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Rostov region.
"According to preliminary data, the driver of the VAZ-2107 car, born in 1981, did not choose a safe speed, allowed the car to skid and then hit a road barrier, after which he drove into oncoming traffic where an ambulance collided with an ambulance moving in the opposite direction," the Telegram channel said.
As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the 2006 VAZ-2107 car died on the spot. In addition, the ambulance driver and passenger were injured. Specialists are working at the scene, all the circumstances of the accident are being established.
On September 25, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported to Izvestia that 353 road accidents had occurred on Russian roads over the past day, killing 29 and injuring 413 people. 16 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
