The Hermitage's visitors were urgently evacuated due to an anonymous security threat. This was announced on September 25 by the press service of the Hermitage.
"The Hermitage has received an anonymous security threat message. In accordance with the rules of procedure in such situations, the museum's Security Service, together with Rosgvardiya employees, evacuated visitors to the Main Museum Complex," the museum's Telegram channel said.
It is specified that all halls and office premises were checked, no threat was detected. All the Hermitage complexes have returned to work as usual.
Earlier, on September 9, the Hermitage received a threatening message. The visitors were evacuated. No threats were found during the check.
