Lavrov and Rubio begin meeting in New York

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio have begun talks at the UN General Assembly in New York.

The meeting with Rubio was the first in the last four years between the heads of the foreign ministries of Russia and the United States.
