The court reported on the victims in the case of fraud against Gazmanov

People's Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov, his wife, son and businesswoman Marina Lebedeva are victims of the fraud case, according to the case materials announced on September 24 in the Moscow City Court, the Izvestia correspondent reports.

The court also confirmed the arrest until October 6 of Gevorg Sargsyan, who is accused of deceiving Gazmanov and his family.

Sargsyan is being charged with large-scale fraud. He faces up to 10 years in prison. During the hearing, Sargsyan's lawyer asked to change the measure of restraint to a milder one, the prosecutor, in turn, asked to leave the decision of the district court unchanged.

Roman Kuzmin, Gazmanov's lawyer, had previously reported that Sargsyan had been transferred from jail to house arrest. The victim's side believes that the businessman will then flee abroad with all the money.
