- Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Berezove
Military personnel of the 36th separate Guards Motorized Rifle brigade of the Vostok group of forces revealed the details of the liberation of the Berezove settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The relevant footage is published by the Russian Defense Ministry on September 24.
"The storming and liberation of the settlement took place quickly and confidently thanks to joint and cohesive work. Intelligence, <...> found fortified areas, ambushes, and enemy firing points. The command made the right decisions and coordinated the movement of the assault groups," said the commander of the assault platoon with the call sign Yakut-Za.
After the occupation of the village, the stormtroopers carried out a thorough sweep of all fortifications, including trenches, buildings, basements and forests around the village.
According to the military, the Ukrainian militants mainly use foreign-made machinery and equipment: NATO rifles, American-made bulletproof vests and British gas masks.
"Mostly there are old people — grandparents, indigenous people who can't go anywhere. <...> We help in any way we can: water, food. <...> When they meet us, they are happy that the rescuers have come. Of course, we will always help those who need evacuation — we will evacuate," said the shooter with the call sign Belka.
On September 20, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had liberated the village of Berezove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost more than 270 soldiers in this area. According to the ministry, during the assault, artillery crews and drone operators launched pinpoint strikes on the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds, destroying enemy military equipment and manpower.
