Russia has created the first smart ring with artificial intelligence

Russia has released the country's first smart ring capable of analyzing a person's physical and psycho-emotional state using AI. The device continuously monitors sleep, stress levels, and activity, and then generates personalized recommendations based on this data.

The main feature of the development is the use of domestic GigaChat artificial intelligence, trained on the data of Russian users. It helps not only to record indicators, but also to interpret them, identifying changes in the body and suggesting how best to recover or maintain a state of resource. The term "resource" reflects the body's ability to cope with stress and maintain sustained motivation and performance.

The ring algorithms take into account polysomnographic data, as well as physiological parameters, including pulse, saturation, and body temperature. All this works without the need for constant interaction with the device — the ring is worn around the clock and is almost invisible.

The artificial intelligence has passed a series of exams and tests, including medical scenarios, but the device itself is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis. The launch of the SberDevices ring reflects the growing interest in "wearable analytics" and the application of AI in everyday life. This is a step towards a more conscious attitude towards one's own health, based on technologies adapted to the national context.
