Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is considering sending his country's peacekeeping forces to the Gaza Strip. This was announced on Monday, September 22, by the international relations correspondent of the Axios portal, Barak Ravid.

As he clarified in his post on the social network X (ex. Twitter), Subianto plans to send soldiers to the enclave. Ravid made the corresponding statement in response to his earlier publication that US President Donald Trump plans to present the White House's vision for peace in Gaza to Arab countries.

On September 19, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the UN Security Council was unable to "stop the bloodshed" and the suffering of civilians living in the Gaza Strip, which was regrettable and disappointing. According to the ministry's statement, Russia insists on a just solution to the Palestinian problem, a cease-fire, the release of hostages and the restoration of the peace process on an international legal basis.
