Krasnov opened the IV All-Russian Archery Competitions

Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov opened the IV All-Russian Archery Competition "Cup of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation" on September 22.

This year, over 600 young athletes from 48 regions of Russia will take part in the tournament. The competitions are held in Kazan at the Ak Bars Arena stadium. For the first time, teams from the Zaporizhia, Kaluga and Sakhalin regions will be represented at them.

"This is the fourth year that we have been meeting in various arenas of our vast country. And today our next tournament starts here. We are glad to see you all, we are glad to welcome you. Archery requires a lot of concentration. Of course, I would like to wish you a sporting fight, a fair fight, so that your arrows fly in the right direction. And most importantly, bright sports intrigues!" — said Krasnov, welcoming the athletes.

The Cup of the Prosecutor General of Russia in archery is included in the Unified Sports calendar of the Ministry of Sports of Russia. The previous tournament was held at the Fisht Olympic Stadium on the Black Sea coast.

In the capital of Tatarstan, participants will compete for 32 sets of awards in two age categories in the disciplines of classical and block archery in individual and team competitions.

The head of the supervisory authority also visited the Olympic Reserve school in Kazan, where he launched the construction of a large—scale sports facility, the Archery Center.

"Today we are laying a house for shooters, for children, for those who will practice this sport. I think it will be a point of attraction not only for athletes, not only for children, but also for their parents and coaches. And all Tatarstan citizens. And not only Tatarstan citizens, but all Russians!"— emphasized Krasnov.

On September 16-18, Dagestan hosted an inclusive unified mini-football Spartakiad. The Match of Kindness brought together more than 400 athletes, 300 of them with intellectual disabilities, but all play in the same team. The tournament was organized by the leadership of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Dagestan and with the support of the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation.
