A political scientist commented on the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the resort area of Crimea.

The Ukrainian authorities must answer for the attack on civilians in Foros. This was stated on September 22 by Andrey Koshkin, an expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, in an interview with Izvestia.

"First of all, the political authorities that conduct terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation, against the civilian population and, of course, structures such as the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine. — Ed.), the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine. And of course, [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky must be responsible for everything," Koshkin said.

He added that the participation of German generals and NATO officers in planning a strike on the civilian population in Crimea is also possible. According to the expert, the purpose of the attack was to force the Russian Armed Forces to act more fiercely in peaceful settlements.

"They think they will provoke violence, but we have a completely different cultural code. We have a different approach to fulfilling the tasks of a special military operation," the political scientist concluded.

Earlier on September 22, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Petrenko, announced that a criminal case had been opened into a terrorist attack on civilian facilities in Crimea by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
