The bronze medalist of the World Judo Championships in the national team of Ukraine, Elizaveta Litvinenko, renounced her country's sports citizenship. This was reported on September 22 by the RBC-Ukraine news agency.

Now the athlete will represent the team of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The reason for this decision could be the position of the Ukrainian Judo Federation, which boycotts international tournaments, the source said.
