The calculation of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Zaporozhye region

The calculation of the upgraded heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepek" of the Vostok group of forces eliminated the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the settlement of Chervonoye, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on September 22 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the ministry, aerial reconnaissance revealed defensive positions with engineering fortifications and firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After clarifying the coordinates, the crew fired thermobaric ammunition.

"As a result of the strike, the fortifications and the enemy's manpower located there were destroyed," the Defense Ministry noted.

Earlier, on September 20, it was reported that the upgraded TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the Center group of forces struck a fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army direction. According to the agency, the use of thermobaric charges made it possible to effectively hit the enemy even in protected structures and dugouts.
