French President Emmanuel Macron has argued with American leader Donald Trump over energy imports from Russia to the European Union (EU). This was reported by Bloomberg on September 21.
Macron called the European Union's remaining energy imports from Russia "very insignificant," disputing Donald Trump's calls for the bloc to reduce its dependence.
According to the French leader, the EU has already reduced the consumption of oil and gas from Russia by more than 80%.
