Notary Kashurin spoke about the impossibility of donating certain types of real estate

People donate real estate through notaries. Notary Ivan Kashurin told on September 21 what kind of real estate cannot be given even to a loved one.

"First of all, real estate can be donated only if it belongs to the donor and his rights are properly fixed," the Prime agency quoted him as saying.

The notary noted that it is impossible to donate a land plot if all the buildings on it are not registered.

Real estate that cannot be donated includes those that have been seized or used as collateral, as well as purchased with maternity capital.

If jointly acquired property is to be donated, it is important to obtain the documented approval of the partner. If the donor is bankrupt or his legal capacity is limited, then this will not allow the transaction to be carried out.

At the same time, you can't cover up other real estate transactions with gifts.
