Two policemen injured and 30 people detained during riots in The Hague
30 people were arrested in Maliveld Square in The Hague for rioting, as a result of which two policemen were injured. This was reported on September 20 by the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper (AD).
"The police have arrested more than 30 people. Two policemen were injured," the publication says.
It is noted that many demonstrators managed to leave the square.
Earlier, on September 14, over 400 eco-activists were detained in The Hague while blocking the A12 motorway. It is specified that the detainees, including those who attempted to resist the police, were taken to one of the stadiums, from where they were released after traffic on the blocked road was restored.
