Vucic spoke about the fear of Western embassies before Belousov's arrival in Belgrade.

The embassies of Western countries were afraid that Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov would pay a visit to the "Force of Unity" military parade in Belgrade. This was announced on September 20 by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"When the media reported that special guests were going to Serbia for the parade, and they were guests from Arab countries, we received calls from all Western embassies in Belgrade: 'Is it really true that the Russian Defense minister is coming to Serbia, because that would be scandalous and outrageous,'" he said during the meeting. The Cooperation Council of Serbia and the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RS BiH).
