Trump linked the drone crash in Poland to a technical glitch
US President Donald Trump said that the incident with drones in Poland could have been caused by a technical malfunction. He said this on September 18 in an interview with Fox News channel.
"They were probably disabled. Let's hope so," Trump said, noting that he does not yet have all the information about the details of what happened.
The politician stressed the need for coordination between NATO countries in order to avoid similar situations in the future. He also expressed confidence that Polish and American experts are working together on the investigation.
Earlier, on September 10, the Polish authorities reported the destruction of several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that violated the country's airspace. According to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, this incident can be called a "large-scale provocation."
