After an earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka, waves up to 1.5 m high may occur at Cape Lopatka. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory on Thursday, September 18.

"Nikolskoye village, Ust-Kamchatsk village, wave approach up to 0.5 m is possible. Cape Lopatka — up to 1.5 m, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky — up to 0.1 m," the message says.
