Russia has challenged allegations of alleged involvement in the downing of Flight MH17 in the UN court.

Russia has challenged in the UN International Court of Justice the baseless decision of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on Russia's alleged involvement in the downing of Malaysian Boeing flight MH17. This was announced on September 18 by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The ICAO Council did not consider it necessary to conduct a full, thorough and independent international investigation into the circumstances of the disaster, taking on faith the very dubious results of technical and criminal investigations," the agency said in a statement on its website.
