The court transferred the editor-in-chief of Baza Trifonov from the pre-trial detention center to house arrest

On September 18, Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky Court ordered house arrest until October 20 for Gleb Trifonov, the editor of the Baza channel, Izvestia correspondent reports from the courtroom.

The meeting was held behind closed doors. The plot of the case is that, according to investigators, Trifonov and his colleague— the producer of the Baza channel, Tatyana Lukyanova, bribed police officers to obtain operational information, which was subsequently published on the channel. The guards in question also became defendants in the criminal case.
