The Zapad grouping of Russian troops is developing an offensive in the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. This was announced on September 17 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the Joint Group of Troops in the area of the special military operation, Army General Valery Gerasimov.

In turn, the Vostok group of troops is actively increasing its advance in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.
