The ceiling collapsed during a lesson at a school in Vladivostok

A partial ceiling collapse occurred in the corridor of school No. 46 on Battery Street in Vladivostok. It happened during the school day. The prosecutor's office has started checking.

According to some reports, the debris hit two students, but they are fine, writes IA PrimaMedia, noting that parents of schoolchildren have repeatedly contacted the administration of the educational institution with complaints about the unsatisfactory technical condition of the building.

Specialists from the Department of Education arrived at the site. Possible repair options are being considered. The area is fenced, access to the damaged area is limited.

In January, the ceiling of school No. 72 in Vladivostok also collapsed. The incident attracted the attention of the head of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin. It turned out that the school building had been in disrepair for the past few years.

The Primorsky Prosecutor's Office organized inspections at other schools and found out that three had serious violations of sanitary and building regulations.
