The first flight landed ahead of schedule at Krasnodar Airport
On September 17, the first plane landed ahead of schedule at Krasnodar Airport after the airspace was opened and flights resumed.
Earlier that day, Izvestia correspondent Alexandra Mostovaya reported that the first flight from Moscow to Krasnodar took off from Sheremetyevo Airport for the first time after a three—year hiatus.
On September 11, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced that Krasnodar airport would be open for flight service from 9:00 a.m. Moscow time. The agency recalled that it had not operated flights since the end of February 2022 for security reasons. Later, Aeroflot launched ticket sales for flights to Krasnodar from Moscow and other regions of Russia.
