The French carmaker Renault was previously denied trademark registration in Russia by Rospatent. This was stated in the electronic database of the International Bureau of WIPO on Wednesday, September 17.

After that, the company has several weeks to respond to the examination notification. As RIA Novosti found out, the preliminary refusal of the application for registration of the trademark "Reno" was received back in April 2025.
