The suspect in the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson, planned to keep a secret about what he had done for the rest of his life. This was reported to The New York Times on September 16 by Utah District Attorney Jeff Gray.

"To be honest, I was hoping to keep it a secret until my death in old age. I'm sorry that I involved you in all this," Robinson wrote to his transgender neighbor (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), with whom he was in a romantic relationship.

According to the prosecutor, the confessions were made in personal correspondence and became an important part of the evidence base against Robinson.

Earlier in the day, it was reported about 71-year-old George Zinn, who made a false confession to distract attention from the real killer. It was noted that he was detained for having images of sexual abuse of children on his phone. Zinn will remain in custody without the possibility of posting bail.
