FP reported on the reflection of the isolation of Zelensky's reforms from reality
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced reforms that were ambiguously accepted by society, which indicates a lack of understanding of the current situation in the country by the government of Ukraine. This was reported on September 16 by the newspaper Foreign Policy (FP), citing sources.
"Zelensky's entourage exists in a vacuum. <...> They live in a bubble," the publication says.
It is noted that this position appeared after the tightening of laws for disobedience in the army, switching from one brigade to another and desertion. Also, residents of Ukraine ambiguously adopted a law on allowing men at the age of 22 to travel abroad.
Earlier in the day, in an interview with Sky News, Zelensky set a condition for US President Donald Trump to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He stated that he needs guarantees for Ukraine from Europe and the United States, and Trump must take a clear position.
