US President Donald Trump had a "wonderful conversation" with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, discussing ways to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He wrote about this on September 16 in his Truth Social network.

"I have just concluded a wonderful conversation with my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wished him a happy birthday. He's doing an incredible job. Thank you for your support in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine," the message says.

Trump noted that he appreciates Modi's cooperation and stressed the importance of joint efforts to resolve the crisis diplomatically.
