Calculations of the Msta-S howitzers of the North group destroyed the AFU UAV control point

Calculations of self-propelled howitzers "Msta-S" of the 44th army corps of the North group of forces destroyed platoon strongpoints, a control point and calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkov area of the special operation. This was announced on September 16 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the calculations of self-propelled howitzers quickly changed their positions, carried out reconnaissance, identified the necessary targets, directed and adjusted the firing.

"The enemy's calculation, which uses unmanned aerial vehicles, was completely destroyed... The crew is doing an excellent job, everything happens very quickly: it takes no more than 10 minutes from receiving the command to the first fire," said the commander of the gun with the call sign Kamar.

It is emphasized that the enemy's fire damage is carried out at ranges of several tens of kilometers. Shooting can be carried out both from closed firing positions and direct fire without prior preparation.

It is noted that the infliction of fire damage on objects and manpower of the Ukrainian military was recorded.

Earlier, on September 15, servicemen of the Msta-S self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) of the Center group of forces destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army direction. It is noted that the artillery crew, having received data from the operators of the Orlan 30 UAV, quickly turned around and delivered an accurate 152-millimeter projectile strike on a fortified Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold, destroying an accumulation of enemy manpower at a distance of more than 14 km. Reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) confirmed the defeat of targets.
