Trump discussed the possible prosecution of a number of Americans under RICO
US President Donald Trump has announced that he is in talks with the country's Attorney General, Pam Bondi, about the possible prosecution of people who invested significant amounts of money in campaigning and protests in the United States. He said this during his speech at the White House on Monday, September 15.
"I am in conversation with the Attorney General about the application of RICO (the law on corrupt and racketeer-influenced organizations. — Ed.) against some of the people you read about, who invest millions and millions of dollars in campaigning. These are protests. These are crimes," he said.
Earlier, on September 13, Trump announced his intention to launch an investigation against entrepreneur and billionaire George Soros. The American leader also mentioned that it is supposed to check for violations under the RICO act.
