In New Moscow, in the 42nd quarter of the Shcherbinka settlement, a fire broke out on the roof of an abandoned warehouse. Currently, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on its elimination, the agency reported on September 15.

"Upon arrival of the fire and rescue units, it was established that the roof of an unused warehouse was on fire," the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the Telegram channel.

The ministry clarified that the fire was localized on an area of 1,200 square meters. m, as a result of the emergency, a partial collapse of the roof occurred. The group of fire extinguishing forces has been increased to 45 people and 11 pieces of equipment.

The Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor's office added that the agency is monitoring the establishment of all the circumstances and causes of the fire, as well as the progress and results of the pre-investigation check conducted on this fact.
