- Traffic on the new interchange in Tyumen is planned to open before the end of the year.
In Tyumen, traffic at the new interchange on the Moskovsky Highway may open before the end of 2025. This was reported to the news agency " <url>" in the main directorate of construction of the region.
The contract with the contractor provides for the completion of construction by November 26, 2026. However, the work is significantly ahead of schedule.
"If possible, taking into account the technical readiness of the facility, the issue of opening a labor movement will be considered before the end of 2025," the management told the news agency.
So far, the construction of the interchange and left U-turns on the Moskovsky Highway continues. The length of the overpass on Dzhanbrovsky Street will be 202 m. In total, as part of the project, road workers will equip eight exits. Thus, the total length of the interchange will be about 7 km.
In August, it was reported that the current bus station on Permyakova Street in Tyumen was decided to be located in another area. This is provided for by the territorial planning scheme of the region. The new building is planned to be built near the Old Tobolsk highway.
