The ship "Claudia Elanskaya" will be sent on its maiden voyage after repairs
On Tuesday, September 16, the Klavdia Elanskaya motor ship will embark on its maiden voyage after repairs. It will leave Murmansk at 16:00, and arrive in Ostrovnoy on September 17 or 18. He will return to Murmansk on September 19.
This is reported by the Bi-Port news agency with reference to the passenger ship's timetable for September – October. Two flights are scheduled in October, from October 7 to October 10 and from October 21 to October 25. The agency clarifies that the Claudia Elanskaya was supposed to be repaired in June, but the deadline has shifted. To speed up the process, repairs on the ship were carried out in parallel with its inspection.
In August, the ship, which belonged to the Murmansk Shipping Company, was sold at auction along with other property. It was bought by a company from the Ryazan region.
Earlier it was reported that the launch date of the pilot cruise route "Pomorskoe Koltso" was postponed to 2026. The ship, which was supposed to participate in the project, was not put into operation due to sanctions. The route starts in Moscow and should pass through the waters of the White Sea through Arkhangelsk, the Solovetsky Archipelago and Umba in the Murmansk region. The cruise takes place on the new ship "Nikolay Zharkov" and lasts 15 days.
