The Russian army is moving fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to the front line in all directions on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on September 15 by the head of the region Denis Pushilin.

"The situation was quite difficult, but nevertheless we see that on the front line our units continue to push back the enemy. Moreover, this is happening in almost all directions," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

According to the head of the region, the Vostok group of troops showed the best result during the week, liberating three settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He also pointed to the actively unfolding liberation campaign in the area of the Krasnoarmeysko-Dmitrovskaya agglomeration.

In addition, Pushilin stressed that the situation in the north of the republic is deteriorating for the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On September 7, Le Figaro newspaper stated that there is a critical shortage of Ukrainian Armed Forces troops on the territory of the DPR due to the lack of infantry and a defensive line.

On September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that all groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were advancing along all lines of combat contact. According to him, the Ukrainian militants are unable to conduct large-scale offensive operations, their work is aimed only at holding the existing borders.
