Failures in the work of Rostelecom were revealed during a Single voting day.

Roskomnadzor reported technical problems in the operation of the Rostelecom network during the Single Voting Day. This was announced on September 15 by Alexander Izhko, acting head of the Department of Licensing, control and supervision in the field of mass communications at Roskomnadzor.

"On September 14, at 12:20, a failure was recorded on the Rostelecom network. Problems with the backbone router on the M10 are line board failures. Possible degradation of traffic on the backbone network. The accident is in the process of being eliminated by Rostelecom specialists," Izhko told RIA Novosti.

It is specified that during the election campaign, 110 incidents were recorded that disrupted the operation of communication networks necessary for the functioning of election commissions at all levels. The acting chief assured that the response measures to restore the network had been taken.
