The media reported on Romania's interception of a drone
The Romanian Air Force has intercepted an alleged Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the country's territory. This was announced on September 13 by the Antena 3 TV channel.
It is specified that the incident occurred 20 km from the city of Tulcha, which is located next to Ukraine. After the drone was detected, two F-16 fighter jets were lifted into the sky. According to the TV channel, the drone did not fly over populated areas and did not pose a threat to citizens.
Later, the UAV crashed near the village of Kilia-Veka.
On September 12, Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov announced that Russia had pointed out to the Finnish Foreign Ministry the harmfulness of unsubstantiated accusations of hybrid influence and sabotage by the Russian Federation. According to the diplomat, Russia's accusations are not being confirmed.
