In three hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed nine drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on September 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"From 12:00 to 15:00 Moscow time, nine Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that eight drones were eliminated over the territory of the Belgorod region, and another drone was shot down over the Samara region.
