Wakeboarding demonstrations will be held in Skolkovo as part of the My District program

On September 13 and 14, the Skolkovo Innovation Center will host wakeboarding demonstrations with the participation of leading athletes and amateurs. The event is organized on the site of the Moscow Mayor's My District program and will become one of the key sports activities during the City Day holidays. This was announced by the organizers.

From August 1 to September 14, Skolkovo is one of the central venues of the Territory of the Future forum. Moscow 2030". As part of the program, a modern sports cluster has been created here, including a wake station with a swimming pool equipped with a rope-towing system and specialized figures for performing tricks.

The infrastructure allows for classes and workshops on cable wakeboarding for a wide audience. Over 1,080 people visited the site during the 27 days of its operation. On average, the sports area hosted about 40 participants daily, which confirms the high interest of Muscovites in modern types of activity within walking distance.

Both professional athletes and instructors who conducted training for beginners will take part in the demonstration races. Performances will take place in three sets daily: from 13:00 to 14:00, from 16:00 to 17:00 and from 19:00 to 20:00.

The audience will be able to see spectacular stunts on the water, and everyone can register and take part in master classes. Participants are provided with the necessary equipment, including vests and helmets, which ensures a safe environment for training and training.
