Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, during a meeting with Kirill Logvinov, Director of the Department of International Organizations at the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated the importance of maintaining dialogue and regular contacts with the Russian Federation at the highest and highest levels. This was reported on September 11 on the website of the Serbian Foreign Ministry.

"Stressing the importance of maintaining the continuity of dialogue and meetings at the highest and highest levels, Djuric noted the recent meeting of the Presidents [of Serbia and Russia Alexander] Vucic and [Vladimir] Putin's visit to Beijing, stressing that it was a confirmation of mutual readiness to preserve the traditionally close ties between the two countries," the Foreign Ministry said.

The Serbian minister expressed his willingness to continue good cooperation with Russia. Djuric also thanked Moscow for its principled position on the status of Kosovo and Metohija.

Earlier, on September 2, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called the conversation with Putin in Beijing very honest and important. He also expressed hope for strengthening bilateral relations and stated his principled position not to support anti-Russian sanctions, despite pressure from the West.
