Sobyanin spoke about the popularity of Moscow pharmaceutical products in Africa
Moscow continues to support the development of industrial enterprises in the capital and promotes the acquaintance of residents of other countries with their products, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, in the first half of 2025, 60% of exports from Moscow's manufacturing companies accounted for products from the food industry, instrument engineering, energy engineering and pharmaceuticals.
"More than 80% of pharmaceutical industry exports are sent to friendly countries," the mayor wrote on his channel in the IACH. — They are in particular demand in the countries of Africa — Congo and Nigeria. They mainly buy vaccines, medicines and diagnostic reagents."
The maximum growth was noted in the supply of instrument—making products abroad - control and measuring devices, optical equipment. According to the mayor, these exports have more than tripled, with Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China and Myanmar becoming the main partners of Moscow companies.
Sobyanin recalled that the Mosprom center supports the capital's exporters and helps expand the geography of supplies. In the first six months of this year alone, 11 business missions abroad were organized and Moscow companies participated in two major international exhibitions.
In early August, Sobyanin announced that in the first six months of 2025, the volume of supported exports from Moscow increased to 11.6 billion rubles, an increase of more than a quarter compared to the same period last year. "With the help of the city, entrepreneurs delivered products to 30 friendly countries. The UAE, China and the Republic of Belarus are among the leaders in the growth of exports of Moscow products," the mayor noted. He also noted that with the support of the Moscow Export Center, entrepreneurs of the capital supply IT solutions, food products, high-tech goods and much more, Sobyanin noted.
