He told the Prime Minister that the strike had been carried out against a US ally, a mediator in the negotiations on a ceasefire in Gaza. Netanyahu replied that he had limited options for a strike and decided to use them, according to the material.

Later, as the source noted, the telephone conversation between the leaders became more friendly. Trump asked Netanyahu about the success of the attack, to which the prime minister replied that he did not know yet.
