In Voronezh, the son of an employee of the Federal Tax Service became involved in a fatal accident

The man who caused a fatal accident on Kholzunov Street in Voronezh was stripped of his driver's license and got behind the wheel while intoxicated. On September 9, the mother of the deceased passenger of the car, Anna, told Izvestia about this.

The woman clarified that her daughter Valeria met the guy while studying at the university, but then he disappeared somewhere and did not get in touch for four years. On the day of the tragedy, he announced that he was returning to the city and invited the girl to meet at a bar. According to Anna, the 31-year—old man did not have a driver's license - he was stripped of his documents for repeated drunk driving.

"Then they went to another bar, where he was drinking, and subsequently got behind the wheel. My daughter got in next to me <...> and the car drove into a parked semi-trailer. The daughter died immediately, there was a very high speed," said the girl's mother.

Anna learned about the death of her 23-year-old daughter in an accident from the investigator only 36 hours later.

"I asked how it happened, where my child was, to which the investigator replied.: "She was picked up by a corpse truck." Then I asked what was wrong with the driver. She said he was in serious condition, in intensive care," the girl's mother explained.

Later it became known that the culprit of the accident had already been discharged from the hospital — according to the woman, he still has not been charged. Anna noted that the guy's mother works for the Federal Tax Service (FTS), and stressed that neither he nor his family had contacted her after the incident.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 3. The Interior Ministry reported that a 31-year-old man lost control and ran over a parked car, after which he flew into a Renault Logan car moving in the same direction. The 23-year-old companion of the culprit of the accident died before the ambulance arrived.

Earlier, on July 22, in the Uletovsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a fatal accident occurred involving the acting Deputy chairman of the regional government Alexei Goncharov. As a result of the accident, a Toyota passenger born in 1978 died in the hospital.
