The killer suspected of murdering rapper Tupac Shakur has testified about the involvement of American rapper Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, in the murder. This was reported on September 7 by USA Today newspaper with reference to the testimony of the alleged killer, a former member of the criminal gang "Creeps" Dwayne Davis (Keff Dee).

The publication noted that in September 1996, a boxing match took place in Las Vegas between members of two California gangs. After the fight, Tupac Shakur punched Davis' nephew Orlando Anderson. The man hit the ground and was attacked and beaten by the crowd. The man did not inform the police about what had happened and refused medical help, but told his uncle about the incident, who decided to take revenge.

"Sean Combs has offered a $1 million bounty on the heads of two men (Tupac Shakur and rapper Suga Knight. — Ed.)," follows from Davis' secret interview with the police.

A few hours after the incident at the hotel, Shakur was shot dead by a passing car. He passed away a few days later. Shug Knight was shot in the head and survived.

"Two more allegations that Combs was involved in Shakur's death appeared in records filed as part of civil lawsuits against P. Diddy. He boasted that he had ordered the attack and that he may have paid for the rented Cadillac used for the car shooting," the newspaper reported.

Sean Combs has not previously been charged in connection with the murder of Tupac Shakur, and he has categorically denied any involvement. Combs was never considered a suspect in the case, according to a Las Vegas police spokesman.

On August 5, P Diddy's lawyer Nicole Westmoreland, along with her client, appealed to the head of the appealed to US President Donald Trump with a request for clemency. Earlier, the American leader made it clear that, most likely, he would not pardon the perpetrator. At the same time, Westmoreland expressed hope for her client's optimistic attitude.

Prior to that, on July 3, a court in New York denied rapper Sean Combs bail until sentencing. The judge noted that the actor had not proved that he would not pose a danger outside of detention.

The New York Times reported on July 2 that a Manhattan court jury partially returned a verdict against P. Diddy, finding him guilty on two of the five counts, in particular, of transporting people for prostitution. It was clarified that the discussions lasted 12 hours.
